Lucky for me, my “day job” is a casual work environment, so I get to wear pretty much anything that’s comfortable – whether it’s a sexy pair of wedges or a casual pair of smokin slippers. While the wardrobe flexibility is absolutely amazing, I feel like I’m a little lacking in the business professional department, which is why I was so excited to receive an invitation to Harper’s Bazaar Work The Look. Monday night, I strolled into the Le Meridien hotel in Philadelphia and joined business students from around the city for an exciting night of makeovers, cosmos, shopping, and styling. Celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson (who – BTW – caught the red eye from the Emmy’s after styling Julianne Hough to be with us in Philadelphia) hosted as style expert, discussing her favorite looks from Jones New York and the closet must-haves for professionals, including white blouses and the little black suit.
